Leadership Transition Announcement
St. Augustine Catholic High School announces an upcoming leadership transition as Mr. Dave Keller prepares to retire from his role as President effective January 2, 2026, after more than 20 years in Catholic school leadership and 15 years guiding St. A’s.
Under Mr. Keller’s leadership, St. Augustine has transformed from a small school facing closure into a thriving, faith-filled community known for academic excellence, student leadership, and Catholic identity. His vision and commitment have shaped the strong foundation the school stands on today.
While stepping down as President, Mr. Keller will continue serving St. Augustine as Chief Budget Officer, focusing on financial sustainability while spending more time with his family.
The Bishop and Board of Directors have announced that Mrs. Melissa Lopez-Gruenhagen, current Vice President of Operations, will assume the role of President beginning January 2, 2026. With over 16 years of experience in Catholic education and a deep commitment to faith and excellence, Mrs. Lopez-Gruenhagen is well-prepared to lead St. Augustine into its next chapter.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Keller for his years of service and dedication to the Wolf Pack community, and warmly welcome Mrs. Lopez-Gruenhagen as she steps into her new role.
